That whole shot would've established a lot and helped in making that fight between him and Cinder a lot more believable. All we would have needed is a shot of Rhodes walking down the street, while looking at his Scroll which showed his Aura being pretty low, maybe a mention of having just finished a mission, and then he sees the Hotel he frequently visits where Cinder is, and he walks to there. I mean, I would've thought it would've been more believable if it was established that Rhodes was coming back from a mission and his Aura was already pretty low at like 15-20%. As a Huntsman, you'd think that he would atleast report the issue to authorities or confront the step mother himself, but the dude literally does nothing at all.įinal part of the episode definitely has my hopes up that they can make Episode 7 a good spot to leave us on, but so far, I have not seen anything this season which truly makes me call it 'Amazing'. Speaking on their bond, the dude literally does nothing when it comes to Cinder being abused by her step mother, despite all the time they've been together. Her actually beating a professional huntsman in combat is also something that I found to be unbelievable, but one could make the argument that they were holding back due to having a bond with her. Cinder's backstory is supposed to make you feel sad for her, but since they waited so long to reveal anything, I can't really feel anything for her at all. This was a pretty 'okay' episode, but I feel like it was meant to be amazing, not reaching the mark mainly due to narrative issues.
